These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lien Waiver Manager (the "Service"), provided by [your legal business name, e.g. Midwest Stone Sales LLC] ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Lien Waiver Manager helps you generate lien waiver documents for construction payment transactions and keep records of jobs and waivers you create. It is a document-generation and record-keeping tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
The Service offers a one-time purchase (Single Waiver) and a recurring monthly subscription (Unlimited). Recurring subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the Account tab inside the app, which opens a self-service portal where you can cancel, update your payment method, or view invoices. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law. Fees are otherwise non-refundable.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter, and for reviewing every generated document before relying on it or sending it to any other party. Lien waivers are legal documents with real financial and legal consequences. We do not review, verify, or guarantee the legal sufficiency, accuracy, or enforceability of any document the Service generates. If you have questions about whether a specific waiver is legally correct for your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
You agree not to use the Service to generate fraudulent documents, misrepresent facts on a waiver, or otherwise use the Service unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. You retain ownership of the job and waiver data you enter.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes, financial losses, or legal consequences related to a generated document. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
